For Teachers…
The Neurodiverse Classroom, my signature professional development training for teachers, is on SALE until May 31st!
The Neurodiverse Classroom® is an on-demand training for preK-8th grade teachers who want to better support neurodivergent students in the general education setting.
Teachers can enroll and watch anytime for 6 hours of PD. Parents, you can gift this training to a teacher! Get a glimpse inside the training by watching the short the video below or read more about it at the link.
Now scheduling back-to-school professional development…
I set aside my entire August calendar for back-to-school professional development for teachers. I’m now scheduling topics related to building an inclusive classroom, understanding how neurodivergence impacts learning, and how to support anxiety and prevent negative behavior in the classroom—among other topics! Read more and contact me at the link.
Substack for teachers…
Did you know that teachers get 50% off paid subscriptions? It’s an honor system so behave accordingly :) *login with a browser if you don’t see the discount in the app*
Free resources for teachers…
I believe behavior charts are for teachers and not for students. Behavior charts should help adults privately track data and solve problems, not bring awareness to show kids they aren’t doing well. Free to download at the link!
For Parents…
I highly recommend EVERYONE read AUTISM OUT LOUD. It’s not just for parents raising autistic kids, it’s for parents raising neurotypical kids, neighbors, educators—everyone.
This book is available everywhere, but I encourage you to either buy local at the link below, or join us in Raleigh on May 19th for a book signing with Adrian Wood (I’ll be there) where 100% of the proceeds will benefit Public Schools First NC.
